Rookie Day is a great way for new families to experience Tyler Hill first-hand. It’s a day for you parents to determine if your child is ready for a summer at sleep-away camp and if Tyler Hill is the right place for your family. And it’s an opportunity for your child to see just what Tyler Hill Camp is all about!
Children entering 2nd through 4th grades in the fall are invited to join us for a full day of camp activities and adventures! Once the day begins, Rookies will join with each other and with our campers to experience a typical day at Tyler Hill – from cabin activities to athletics, arts & crafts to waterfront activities, barbecues to campfires.
All Rookies will be partnered with “camp buddies” who will be their big brothers and big sisters for the day. Your future campers will get a great feel for all that a summer at Tyler Hill has to offer!
Simultaneously, parents will take a first-class tour of camp to get a real sense of who we are and what we want for each and every camper at Tyler Hill. Andy, Wendy and Michael will spend the morning with you – they’ll answer your questions and help you see why Tyler Hill is such a special place and why campers choose to come back to THC summer after summer!!
